A professional fashion photographer acquired property along the cliff road overlooking the ocean with the intent of building a house dedicated to fashion shoots.
The client required the house to provide a series of internal and external scenes and backdrops. The quality of natural light, shadows, color, and water played an important role in the development of the various alternatives.
The proposals range from houses which are themselves strong visual objects in the landscape to courtyard type houses which create new landscapes within the walled enclosures.
